Meet Joey & Lauren
Best friends since way before this was a radio show.
We’ve been best friends since we were 14 — the kind of friends who did everything together, even when we weren’t in the same town. Years later, Joey was deep into radio when someone had a wild idea: “What if Lauren joined the show?” Somehow, that idea turned into something real. The kind of real where we show up every morning and get to be ourselves — goofy, honest, sometimes tired, but always in it together.
What Makes the Show Work?
It’s all about chemistry.
The kind that’s built over years — from growing up together, knowing each other inside and out, and still finding reasons to laugh every day.
We bring our full selves to the show.
The friends and family stuff. The food obsessions. The weird arguments. The emotional moments. And yes, sometimes a prank call that goes a little too far.
We’ve heard people say, “I didn’t even know you were married!”
Honestly, that’s kind of the point. The show isn’t about being a couple. It’s about being a team. Two best friends who happen to be in this life — and this studio — together.
Life Off the Air
When we’re not on the show, we’re usually chasing around our two boys, cheering at a sporting event, trying a new food place, taking a nap, or going on one of our family walks — which we’ve been doing since before we had kids (now there are bikes and scooters involved).
What Matters to Us
We’ve always said: if someone listens to our show and feels just a little bit lighter or a little less alone — that’s a win. Whether it’s a laugh on the way to work or something that helps you through a tough day, we don’t take this platform for granted.
